Hyundai Kona: Lighting System / Hazard Lamp Switch Repair procedures

Check for continuity between terminals. If the continuity is not
as specified, replace the hazard lamp switch.

Wrap the protective tape on the tool to disassemble with
the screwdriver or remover.
|

e caution in keeping and handling during disassembling/assembling
because it is easily contaminated with lubricant and oil.

Use caution for the crash pad garnish and door trim upper
garnish made of timber (Real wood) because they can be scratched
or picked.
|
| • |
Be careful not to scratch the door trim and other parts.
|
|
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
| 2. |
Remove the crash pad garnish RH assembly.
(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Garnish")
|
| 3. |
Disconnect the connectors (A).

Install the hazard lamp switch
|
| 2. |
Install the crash pad garnish RH assembly.
|
| 3. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|

Remove the overhead console lamp assembly then check for continuity
