Hyundai Kona (OS) 2018-2026 Service Manual / Body (Interior and Exterior) / Floor Console / Rear Console Cover Repair procedures

Replacement

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

•	Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the floor console assembly. (Refer to Floor Console - "Floor Console Assembly")

2.	Loosen the rear console duct mounting screws.

3.	Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the rear console cover (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

•	Make sure the connector is connected properly.

•	Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
