Hyundai Kona: Dual Clutch Transmission Control System / Shift Lever Repair procedures

Removal
1.
Remove the shift lever knob & boots (A) pull both of it up.

2.
Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Body - "Floor Console")
3.
Remove the fixing clip of wiring (A).

4.
Remove the shift cable.
(1)
Disconnect the eye-end (B) after removing the snap pin (A).
(2)
Disconnect the shift cable soket (C) from the shift lever after pushing the lock.

5.
Remove the shift lever assembly (A) after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque :
8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb-ft)

Installation
1.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  
Before installing, check that the shift lever and manual control lever are placed in the "N" position.
  
Before installing, check that the shift lever and manual control lever are placed in the "N" position.
Insert the shift cable after checking the direction of projection to prevent wrong assembly.

When assembling the snap pin, be careful about the correct direction.
