Replacement

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

•	Take care not to scratch the body surface.

1.	Remove the tail gate upper trim. (Refer to Tail Gate - "Tail Gate Trim")

2.	Disconnect the high mounted stop lamp connector (A).

3.	Disconnect the rear washer nozzle (A).

4.	Remove the rear spoiler cap (A).

After loosening the mounting nuts, remove the rear spoiler (A).

Tightening torque :

5.9 - 6.4 N.m (0.6 - 0.65 kgf.m, 4.3 - 4.7 lb-ft)

6.	After loosening the mounting screws, remove the high mounted stop lamp (A).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

•	Make sure the connector is connected properly.

•	Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
