Removal |
1. |
Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.

Remove the rear wheel and tire (A) from front hub.
|
3. |
Remove the brake caliper from the torsion beam axle.
(Refer to Brake System - "Rear Disc Brake")
|
4. |
Remove the rear hub carrier.
(Refer to Dirveshaft and axle - "Rear Hub - Carrier")
|
5. |
Loosen the bolt & nut and then disconnect the rear shock absorber (A)
from the torsion beam axle.
|
6. |
Remove the coil spring.
|
7. |
Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor connector (A).
|
8. |
Remove the wheel speed sensor cable bracket (A) and parking brake cable
bracket (B).
|
9. |
Remove the torsion beam axle stay mounting bolts (A) and nuts (B) and
then removeing the torsion beam axle.
|
10. |
Remove the torsion beam axle stay (A).
|
Replacement |

Remove the rear torsion beam axle from the vehicle.
(Refer to Rear Torsion Beam Axle - "Removal")
|
2. |
Using the SST (09551-AL100) and press, replace the bush (A).
|
Installation |
1. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
